Who we are
TrustNan is operated by Kathleen English, a sole trader. Kathleen English is the data controller for personal information collected for TrustNan’s own business purposes.

When TrustNan handles personal information on behalf of a client, the client may be the data controller and TrustNan may be acting on the client’s instructions. Separate written terms will explain how that work is handled.
Information we collect
If you contact us or ask about our services, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, business name and the information you choose to include in your message. If you become a client, we may also keep service, communication and payment records.
Our website provider may collect basic technical information needed to operate and protect the website. Please do not send sensitive personal information or information about your own customers through the website form unless we have agreed in writing how it will be handled.
How we use information
We use enquiry details to reply to you and discuss or provide services. We use client and payment records to manage our work, meet legal and accounting duties, and deal with questions or disputes.
For steps you ask us to take before entering a contract, our lawful basis is taking steps at your request. For providing an agreed service, it is performing our contract with you. For routine business records and handling correspondence, it may be our legitimate interests in running and protecting the business. Where the law requires us to keep records, we use them to meet our legal obligations.
We will send marketing messages only where permitted by law. You can opt out at any time by replying to the message or emailing contact@trustnan.io.
Who may receive information
We use service providers to run TrustNan. These may include GoDaddy for the website and Google for business email and documents. If a project requires other services, we will identify the relevant providers in the project terms before sharing personal information with them. These may include AI, automation or receptionist services.
We do not sell personal information. We share only what is needed for the stated purpose, to provide a service you have requested, or where the lawFor course enquiries submitted through our form, TrustNan collects the details you provide using Google Forms and stores responses in Google Sheets. A new-response alert is sent to contact@trustnan.io. Some service providers may store or process information outside the UK. Before personal information is sent to a provider, TrustNan will check the provider and the required legal safeguards for that transfer. You can email contact@trustnan.io to ask which providers and safeguards apply to your service.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry messages for up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a client or we need the information to deal with a legal or business matter.
We keep client, invoice and accounting records for the period required by law. We delete or anonymise other project information when it is no longer needed for the agreed service, unless we have agreed a different period with you.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, you may ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase or restrict its use. You may also have the right to object to certain uses or request a portable copy. If we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it.

Cookies
GoDaddy and other website features may use cookies or similar technologies to make the site work and protect it. If TrustNan adds analytics or advertising cookies, we will provide any required information and choices before using them.
Security and changes
We take reasonable steps to protect information and limit access to people and services that need it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure.
We may update this notice when our services or data use changes. The latest version will appear on this page.
